Best sequel evar. Even better than The Matrix 2 :P

I lol-d. I totally dig that you were able to keep the humour and style intact but also take the animation up several notches. Digging that extreme physics bending animation so hard. Very awesome.

Animation plz.

Hey, your style is really cool and all. Plus you did some great transition work...but uh, nothing really happens in this video. You had these neat looking characters, but there wasn't any character animation. There was lots of movement, but nothing I'd really call animation because there wasn't much life to it. You've got the style and technical skills so I'll have to keep an eye out for your stuff in future though.

Freakin' impressive

This just plain rocks. Your drawings are so basic, yet your style is mad. Your use of caricatured action and camera movement is just fantastic and the whole concept behind this is just fantastic. I really enjoyed watching this. You're awesome.

S'ok.

I like the style your heading towards, but you definately need to develop your skills as an artist and animator - but I guess that's why you're going to college, ain't it? :P

Also, I didn't think there was a preloader on this flash - something which NG requires you have. NG has it's own pre-made preloader you can download and add to your flash movies. I'd give you the link to it, but NG won't let you add links to reviews...so you're just going to have to find it yourself.

Doesn't have the charm of the song

It's a nice attempt at a music clip, but it doesn't really work that well - it just doesn't have the charm that the song does. Plus, towards the end you're just re-using the same animation over and over again in a very obvious way. It's a shame because your drawings are quite nice, but your animation is lacking. So all up: awesome some, lacklustre video.

P.S. The Lemon Demon logo looks wicked. I wish the whole flash looked that good!

Is greatly overshadowed by the original

The presentation is as slick as ever, however the failing of this toon is the use of a techno style song that just isn't catchy and the left of centre humour feels too forced. I loved the original, but this was unsatisfying I have to say.

Brilliant telling of the old tale

What a great animation. Aside from the incredible artwork, the stroke of brilliance in this story is to bring back elements of the tale which have long been censored and forgotten - such as the wine and meat and the grisly ending. Another awesome idea was turning the wolf into a humanoid werewolf type creature - not only is this a unique interpretation, but it also gets around the plot flaw of how does a girl not recognise that the being in her mothers clothing is not human, but lupine. The only improvement I can think of would be to have a bit less of music and bit more of ambient sounds, such as crickets calling in the night. Other than that this is a radical interpretation of Red Riding Hood which both brings the story back to its roots as well as presenting it in a new way. Awesome, just awesome.

First impressions are OK

Keep in mind that this is the first episode I've seen.
The visual style is pretty neat, but I couldn't help thinking (especially with that impressive acrobatic fighting sequence) that you used tweens more than you needed too. It would've been nice to have seen the same animating skill seen in that fight scene applied to the whole episode.
On another point, the sentimentality of the the little girl was just annoying - but perhaps that was intentional, given that the rest of episode was fairly violent and unsentimental - and admittedly, rather gratuitous.
Still, you have some good animating skills and I may just watch the entire series someday.
